Our booth should be a hub of conversation at this fundraiser for Save Maumee, which cleans up and restores our riverbanks https://savemaumee.org/. This event was a smash hit last year, with great bands and performers, lots of creative vendors, an indoor yard sale, a hippie photo booth, good food and a cool, colorful bunch of people. LPAC will have a table to display our literature, our World's Smallest Political Quiz, and chairs for easy conversations. The Festival is at TekVenture, a volunteer run maker space, 1550 Griffin St. (the old River City area), east of downtown https://goo.gl/maps/ePi8CCTbFMQ2. We already have one volunteer per shift. We’d like two. Can you help at the table some time from noon to 10pm? Contact Jeannette.
Our regular business meeting. On even numbered months it is at Liberty Diner, 2929 Goshen Rd., https://goo.gl/maps/whoME8yVpnz . We eat and discuss business and projects. It's interesting and enjoyable.
We host the state convention this year at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Fort Wayne Hotel, 305 Washington Center Rd., north-west at the intersection with Coldwater Rd. Delegates from county conventions go to state conventions to work on state level bylaws, candidates, and delegates to the National LP Convention. Meet the gang! Workshops and speakers on the side, family events -- something for everyone -- and there is always something going on after the official schedule is done. The business section is free, and the whole package is affordable. More details at https://www.facebook.com/events/2025236690922285/
